AEDP Practice Group for Therapists

Group starting July 2026

Are you a therapist who wants to continue learning AEDP experientially and in community?  After a successful first round, I am offering another AEDP Practice group that is not connected to any specific didactic training.

As an Experiential Assistant at AEDP trainings, I have had the pleasure of leading many small groups through AEDP practice sessions. These are the groups where each person rotates through the role of therapist, client, and witness.  The beauty of these groups is that the focus is on the learning of the therapist, giving you an opportunity to stretch and try new things.

This is a low-pressure way to:
  • play
  • take risks
  • notice what’s working
  • appreciate your impact

I will suggest an AEDP principle to focus on and provide a prompt for the practice sessions.

As a facilitator I will:
  • hold space & manage time
  • provide feedback about what’s working
  • offer suggestions when desired
  • track the arc of each mini session
  • note the choice points and key moments
  • point out AEDP interventions you’re already doing

NOW FORMING!

AEDP PRACTICE GROUP (by zoom)
Thursdays 10am-12noon Pacific Time
July 9, 16, 23 & 30

$125 per session, payable up front.  Sliding Scale available.

About Me

I have been studying AEDP for 13 years and worked 1:1 with an AEDP supervisor for 5 years.  I am a Level III AEDP practitioner but am not AEDP-certified.  I have a lot of experience leading small experiential groups and get excited about the profound learning and deep community that is possible.  One of my gifts is helping therapists feel seen, notice what’s working, and feel their positive impact on their clients.

She was incredibly (I MEAN INCREDIBLY!!!) clear and thorough, effective in her feedback, I felt seen as a therapist and it helped me see the impact of me on my client and how skilled I am, undid shame and allowed more belonging / togetherness. Thank you!

Past AEDP Group Participant

I was taken by Carolyn's authenticity and supportive presence. She helped make the group feel safe and secure. Her feedback was incredible--it showed how present she was with the work of each therapist. The feedback was detailed and precise: tracking individual moments; the arc of each therapist's work; along with key moments in the therapist/client interactions.

Past AEDP Group Participant

She was kind, warm, present, thoughtful, and so insightful. She helped the group land into safety, which deepened the work we did together. Her feedback was so on target, and helpful.
